KRtype™ is an independent digital type foundry located near Boston, Massachusetts.

We produce typefaces that fully meet the demanding standards of professional designers. In all of the sample page descriptions, we indicate what particular applications the font is designed to meet, including technical parameters with respect to its ultimate use, e.g. recommended output resolution(s), point size suggestions, etc.

The typefaces produced by KRtype™ are complete character sets, including all punctuation and accented characters (unless specifically noted otherwise), and are available in all popular font formats, for both PC and Mac platforms. We are currently in the process of development of OpenType versions of our library that will offer expanded layout options, such as oldstyle figures, small caps, popular ligatures, as well as alternate glyphs for ornamental faces.
